.
The Route due to the topography seems to be split into 3 distinct area, from Perth you travel along the famous fruit-growing farmland of Blairgowrie, just before the arrive at the majestic Cairngorm National Park which is absolutely filled to the brim with practically everything; one of the most famous mountain ranges with all the wildlife, views, outdoor activities and adventures you will ever need.
.
Once through the park, you start to travel east following the beautiful River Dee where due to the condition of the soft water, probably the single most important factor in making good whiskey, you can take one of the excellent distillery tours where you can learn the secrets of Scotlands national drink.
.
Following the River Dee towards your final destination of Aberdeen (the granite city) you will travel through the beautiful landscapes of Mar Lodge Estate and the Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve, which as with most of Scotland will not disappoint with the most amazing landscapes and wildlife, mixed in with the ruins and castles giving you that historical insight.
