The SnowRoads route in the newest of Scotlands national recognised tourist routes. This fantastic route is designed to showcase the Cairngorms National Park and I have to say this 90 mile route through the park is an absolute cracker.
.
This will be one of the most naturally beautiful 90 miles you are every likely to travel with its snow-capped mountains and its rugged glens. This amazing route is the highest public road in Britain and has the most dramatic Highland scenery imaginable, while exhibiting the most awesome wildlife, from golden eagles, pine martins and red deer to white mountain hares and ptarmigans .
.
Set in Britain’s largest national park the SnowRoads Tourist Route is designed to be taken slowly and enjoyed, with 360 degree vistas, mountains and wilderness this journey should be embraced at a slower than normal pace allowing you the time to soak in and really appreciate the unbelievable views.
.
As well as the natural beauty, this part of the country has many impressive activities and adventures for you to explore from the whiskey distilleries, Ski resorts to even possible meeting the Queen as you pass by Balmoral.
.
You will also have no excuses for stopping off to enjoy the hospitality of some of Scotlands most welcoming Highland villages scattered along the route, where you will be able to wander through and experience their own independent shops, pubs and restaurants. These are the amazing places we want you to find and enjoy the true hospitality of Scotland, with so much to experience it is recommended you take a minimum of 3 to 5 days to in-jest this wild area of unchallenged beauty.
