Kirkdale Estate is a stunning coastal estate with views stretching far out across the Solway Firth in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Home to the Hannay Family for over 500 years, the centrepiece of which is a Robert Adam Georgian Mansion, Kirkdale House, said to have one of the least altered Adam exteriors in Scotland. The Estate has private coastline which is designated a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) with rare lichens and ancient native woodland.
