Since 1938, the Gordon family has owned and managed Lude for farming, forestry and sporting purposes. More recently, the estate has focused on tourism with the re-development of redundant farm buildings into 4 holiday cottages in 2011 and a 5thcottage in 2018. We farm cattle, sheep and trout in several lochs and all our stalking is part of a selective cull and local deer management plan. Outdoor activities at Lude and locally are endless, from stalking and fishing, hill walking, bird watching, mountain biking, cycling, pony trekking and white-water rafting to name a few. And if you are lucky you may spot a red squirrel or highland cow.
